As we said previously, we like to play a game we call Mountains!

Today, we have some photos of the mountain we climbed!

To be honest, we are excellent mountain climbers, we have never been beaten by a mountain. Today’s mountain was pretty easy, just something for us to climb before a relaxing weekend.

I point the way to the summit, some distance in the sky:

Before a climb, we like to get a burst of energy by shouting “Yay, Mountains!!!”

Polar Bear is a little lighter than me so he quickly scrambles ahead to check out the terrain higher up and report back any useful info to me, after I give him a useful hand up the mountain side

Once Polar Bear has cleared the mountain for me, I begin my ascent. Polar Bear is an extremely useful and accomplished climbing partner and uses his strength to help me reach the summit

Things get very dramatic as I am  so close to joining my best friend at the top, just one more push and Polar Bear hauls me up to his ledge!

That was a great climb!

We celebrate with a nice happy photo on the ledge and a nice Mountain lunch!

Phew! What a scorcher!

I am in Riga once again with the Silly One while Shush Bear is in Australia. We are in the same hotel as on our last visit but this trip is very different.

Last time the weather was perfect for me, minus 15 degrees at times. This time, it is 32 degrees! Far too hot for a Polar Bear!

I have no choice but to relax in the hotel room with plenty of water to keep me cool.

The Silly One set me up with a nice pillow to sleep on during the day and of course, I sleep in the bed at night, but he does make some very strange noises, he is even louder than me at full volume!

Ah yes, this is nice!

When I am on a trip, I do like to relax in the room, usually with a good magazine.

Luckily, the hotel provided me with the latest copy of my favourite travel magazine so I could keep up to date with the latest trends in travel for special bears like me.

I spoke to Polar Bear last night and even though I am in Australia, he is having hotter weather than me!

He is back in Riga with the Silly One but he is quite annoyed that he does not have his own bed this time and I can fully understand how he feels.

You see, a bear likes to have room to roam during the night, room to explore his surroundings. So sharing a bed is not ideal.

I don’t mind sharing with the Pretty One because she is so totally awesome and cuddles me all night. As long as she doesn’t steal the TV remote to watch her stories!

Anyway, back to my relaxing read!

Well, I am in a land down under!

I’m here on a cultural visit and to talk to some of my Koala friends but there will be more on my exciting trip coming soon.

Just for now, remember this:

Aircraft safety is very important!

Always watch the safety demonstration and make sure you read the safety card on board!

And yes, that is me on an Airbus A380 – the biggest plane in the world!!

Well, Polar Bear and me have been in the UK for a few months and we have great adventures during the day.

We like to get the duvet and pillows arranged into a mountain and then we help each other climb them! Once we reach the summit we have ourselves a nice picnic, a little rest and then make the perilous descent down the mountain.

We call it….. Mountains!

Hopefully we can post some pictures from one of our climbs very soon!

Well, what a day and what a crazy journey!

We were up and out of the hotel bright and early. When the alarm went off I was a little startled because I was having a lovely little sleep.

Our driver Yuri was waiting for us to take us to the airport and on the way I had a good look at the roads around Riga.

Thanks to Yuri, we got to the airport in plenty of time and things were looking good for our first flight to Amsterdam. We even got to get on the plane and sit down before the pilot told us that Amsterdam airport had closed and we were going back to the airport, we might have to wait for six hours!!!!

Well, the Silly One was very unhappy. It was getting a bit nervy as to whether we would get back home today.

After a few phone calls and a long chat with the airport lady, she got us on a flight to Frankfurt to connect through to Zurich later. So……….

Out we went again, back in through security again and as we had been on the go for four hours already and not got anywhere, we sat down for a rest…

…and a coffee!

The flight to Frankfurt was very, very busy and there were some angry people on board! Thankfully we were on the move on time.

The flight wasn’t too long though and we both caught up on a little sleep. I am glad that the Silly One let me sit with him.

When we landed, we got the bus to the terminal to catch our next plane.

Frankfurt Airport is HUGE!!! It took us a while to walk around and get to our next plane but we got there, were on board nice and quick and got some seats all to ourselves.

No sooner were we in the air than we were coming down into Zurich. Lovely Zurich.

Quickly on to the train home for a very happy reunion with my lovely friends!

I had a lovely time in Riga but it’s soooooo nice to be home!

Hello everyone!

At the moment I am in the beautiful city of Riga!

A week ago, the Silly One came home and said he was going to this place where it would be very cold. He thought I was the perfect person to go with him because I was born in the snow and ice!

We got up very early this morning to go to the airport. I gave a goodbye kiss to all my friends at home.

We went to the airport with the Pretty One. She was flying somewhere else but it was nice for us to all be together.

Me and the Silly One went to get on our plane and within 90 minutes we were in Berlin. After trying to find our way around the place we were both very hot and bothered so we went to the lounge to cool down.

They had a nice selection of drinks so I had a good look at what was on offer.

There was also an amazing selection of chocolate for me to choose from!

We set up our laptop and chargers and stuff in a little corner. While the Silly One was away I did a little web browsing of my own.

After that we did a little relaxing while we waited for our plane to Riga.

When we were on board, there weren’t that many people so I sat with the Silly One, on his lap. I was looking out of the window while the propeller was spinning round just a few feet away from us, it was very exciting!

Once we were in the air, I liked looking out of the widow at the little world below us.

I had a nice time, sitting on his lap while he had a little snooze. When we landed in Riga, there was snow everywhere and the temperature was -12 degrees!

We checked into our hotel and, as they should, the hotel gave me my own bed so I can relax over the next few days.

It’s bed time now and we just sent the Pretty One this picture of me all ready for sleeps.

Goodnight!!

It’s starting to get cold here, so we spend our days all cuddled on the sofa.

We are right in front of the TV so we can watch our stories if we want to.

We never get cold, we can watch our stories and before it gets dark, our light comes on, it’s perfect!

To top it all, if the Pretty One or the Silly One wants to keep an eye on us, they can very easily!

So, while Shush Bear has been away looking after the Pretty One, I have had a little trip of my own.

It was only for a couple of days but I went with the Silly One to Italy!

We had to get up very very early to catch our flight. Luckily the Silly One let me snooze on his lap.

Once we arrived, we went to collect the car. Now, usually we drive around in the Dolphin so it was amazing that the car they gave us was a Panda!

I sat in the front so I could see all the crazy driving going on around us!

By the time we got home I was really tired!

We were only there for two days but we had a lovely time with family, we even got to see some football with some of the family going crazy!

So, up again really early for the flight back and then a lovely train ride all the way home. As it was a three hour trip, we thought it was best to chillax in First Class. I am a polar bear, after all!

Once we arrived home, Paddington Bear had kept everything safe and sound as ever and there was only one thing left to do – sleep!!

Shush Bear is away for a week so I have been given access to the computer to send you a little update.

So where is Shush Bear?

Well, it was a secret, but I can tell you now….

Shush Bear is in Dubai!

We all had to keep it a secret because not everyone he was traveling with knew where they were going. In fact, some thought they were going somewhere else!
